Once in a Hundred Years –
Lawn Sprinkler Services’ Gift of Historic Proportion

2010 marked the Centennial birthday of the Sumner County jewel, a wonderland known as Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places the arboretum celebrated this occasion with great pomp and circumstance. Still, nothing compares to the work completed in early spring by the talented Lawn Sprinkler Service folks. After 99 years of hose hauling and water witching, the 18 acre property will now enjoy 21st century irrigation. The legendary forest with towering pines and stone terraces required miles of careful and nimble trenching – much of it by hand! An underground spring was discovered during the 3 month project which required the installation of a French drain. Bartlett Arboretum is grateful for our friends and irrigation experts at Lawn Sprinkler Services. Come visit us and see for yourself how this legendary garden will assuredly bloom into a new century, thanks to LSS.
